Learn Product Photography

Product photography is a whole art, which includes knowledge of how to often turn "crap" into "candy" using lights, processing and various tricks.

Photos

Here are many examples where you can see products in real life and products photographed by a photographer. It's quite interesting to observe the difference. Remember that turning "crap" into "candy" often also involves Adobe Photoshop, skilled use of lights, various tricks like "refreshing" products to look fresher and more pleasant to the eye.
The first photo is the packaging. The second is the photo on the packaging or "candy" and the third photo is the real and natural product.

I've myself seen how top photos for menus are made. pretty funny if you yourself also work in that kitchen where all that is prepared :D

Very interesting comparisons:)

The differences are especially obvious for those "salads" - on the packaging every pea is visible, but inside it is real mush.

Although I buy them rarely, I have still caught myself thinking that there is a certain disappointment when a McDonald's burger looks great in the picture, but in real life it is just a squashed cutlet sandwich :)

He he... This kind of before/after Photoshop could also be done with girls photos :) But that probably wouldn't be ethical anymore :))

In many examples it even seems that the second and third photos have no content copy...

The right lighting, processing in Photoshop or another similar environment, and of course food specially prepared for photos.

For example like in this video : http://youtube.com/watch?v=9HMAHlqm4GU

Watching the video made me want to go have lunch once again :D
