Nike

Recently I had to photograph new photos for the Latvian Nike store and booklet design. Before that, I purchased an inexpensive camera so I could film various photo sessions and shoots and post them for readers. I apologize that the operator wasn't a professional. Over time, we'll improve.

Photo Session Video

Video should be watched carefully, because after each series there will be photos with the result.

The photo shoot took place at the sports complex "Veselības Fabrika". At one point we left and went to the next room where renovation was taking place. Models - Juris Štāls, Elīna Babkina, Armands Šķēle, Vadims Vasiļevskis. Thanks to the models, assistants and operator! I promise to post more videos with interesting photo shoots.

It was very interesting to look at the creative process! Many thanks for this blog and especially for the video. We are waiting for more...;)

That was done in order to reduce and blur the background as much as possible optically. The larger the zoom, the greater the blur and the smaller and "closer" the background behind becomes. The 70-200 was used in the old room because the background there was too aggressive and had to become smaller, and at the end because there was a door next to the wall and I had to think how to photograph it so that the door would not be noticeable.

So why could you not continue shooting with the same lens and stand just as close as before..?

Cool and instructive. Keep it up! :)

Emm... at first I would like to say a big thank you, because I feel I will definitely visit this blog often and learn a lot from it - an excellent resource!

Since I am nowhere near your level, while watching the video a question came up - why at the end, when the photo session started in the renovation rooms and the gym, did you switch your small portrait lens for a gigantic zoom? The only thing I can imagine is a smaller DOF, but it does not show up in the final images... I hope I am expressing myself clearly enough.

Thanks in advance,
Eriks
