I'm posting one of my old photo sessions where I photographed pastor Alexei Ledyaev. Alexei trusted me and let himself be photographed, where my task was to capture the most interesting and diverse frames possible.
Description
Alexei came to me with a request to make interesting photos for him. He told me that he had been to many photographers but hadn't gotten what he wanted. Alexei fully trusted my ideas and completely surrendered to the process. The photo session lasted ~6 hours. Some will wonder why so long. First of all, I don't like rushing. Better slowly, but qualitatively. A lot of time goes to changing clothes, lighting setup, and only about 30% of the total time goes to actual shooting. Judge the photos and the funny process in the video, not the people and your own views.

Interesting video! So to say instructive, there is an understanding of how all this happens :)

Photos are good, it seems that the main quality of an artist is fulfilled - creativity.

Video I liked, also cool idea in photos. Interesting to ask - from those 6 hours how many photos at the end were delivered to the client?

Erik, I watched it, but he there only saw images on the camera screen, but what did he say in real life after receiving the photographs?

All photos are good, but like the most those with smoke. Well done!

Photos are excellent, maybe too glorifying, but technically super. My favorite is Ledjajev's silhouette against smoke background, who there holds the Bible like a weapon. Quite accurately depicts him, no?

I think Alexei must now be satisfied with the result ;-)

That someone's beliefs don't match the beliefs of the person seen in photographs doesn't mean anything. It's equally fine whether you photograph Ledjajev or Manson, the main thing is with the same devotion as usual.

You remained the only one, because everyone else ordered the same a couple houses further.
