Victory at Young Entrepreneurs Forum

I participated in the Young Entrepreneurs Forum with a story about myself. I also received the biggest feedback from the audience. In the article a bit about the event and my presentation in video format, because many who didn't participate wanted to hear my presentation.

JUF

Young Entrepreneurs Forum v3: "The Key to Success" was an evening of short presentations, where young entrepreneurs introduced their creative activities, who within 2-3 years managed to develop their idea into a competitive business. 8 participants took part in the forum with 7-minute presentations, covering topics such as participant's company, the path from idea to their own business, innovative products and starting new businesses.

The forum's goal is to encourage and inspire people to engage in entrepreneurship, share experiences about how to achieve success in business, as well as create a favorable environment for entrepreneurs and investors to communicate with each other. For viewers this is an opportunity to learn about others' accomplishments from themselves, not from media. www.juf.lv

About the Presentation

First of all I was surprised by the invitation to participate in the JUF event, because I don't consider my activity a business or entrepreneurship, because I don't chase profits. But if you look from another perspective, then my story can be considered a success story that can inspire and encourage others to start their small business or entrepreneurship.
My presentation was simple - I was going to talk about myself as a photographer, how I developed, how I progressed, what were my goals and what was achieved. At the time of the presentation there was great nervousness, some technical glitches with slide switching :), which threw me off even more. In short, public speaking is not my thing. After the presentation I received quite loud applause. That was pleasant. Not having time to get to my seat, some people already caught me with questions about photography and business card exchange.
After all participants' presentations, we were all called for audience voting for the most interesting presentation. The winner was determined by loudness and applause. Here I want to thank everyone who applauded so loudly and enthusiastically, cheered, roared and whistled for me :) That was really pleasant and I was surprised.
As I heard myself, I won for my human story, that the presentation was not about advertising my product, but rather a story about successful development from zero. Thanks again to both organizers and fans!
